My 2 year old loves the fresh beat band, it is the cutes thing when she is dancing infront of the TV, if you have kids I am sure you know what I am talking about. To be honest I like the show just as much as my kids.

I just got my tickets to the fresh beat band live show in Akron Ohio, I am so excited that the fresh beats finally decided to go on a US tour! It was just announced that the fresh beat band live tour will be spring 2012. They will be touring the states februari, march and april and hopefully they will come to a town close to you!

The Fresh Beat Band (formally The JumpArounds) is produced for Nick Jr. The cast, the Fresh Beats are Shout, Twist, Marina, and Kiki 4 best friends who loves music and goes to music school together. The fresh beats love to sing and dance. The fresh beat band show is filmed at Paramount Studios in Los Angeles, California.
So what are the fresh beat band shows all about?
Well all the showes are pretty much set up the same way. It starts out with a song where the fresh beats gets a problem to solve. The band works together to solve the problem. When the problem is solved there is a new song with the solution in the lyrics. The show ends with the ”Great Day” song.
Fresh Beat Band Cast
Twist the DJ (Jon Beavers) he plays turntables,beatbox and sings.
Marina the Drummer (Shayna Rose, Tara Perry) she plays the drums and sing.
Season 1 and 2 where played by Shayna Rosa. Season 3 – Tara Perry.
Shout the Keyboardist (Thomas Hobson) he plays the keyboards and sing.
Kiki the violinist (Yvette Gonzalez-Nacer) she plays the guitar, violin and sings.
Other Characters on the Show is:
Melody (Dioni Michelle Collins) the owner of the Groovy Smoothie Shop.
Reed (Hadley Fraser (Season 1), and later Patrick Levis Season 2) the owner of the Good Note Music Store.
Ms. Piccolo (Monica Lee Gradischek) the music school teacher.
Harper (Shane Blades) the owner of the Pizza Café.
Then we have the kids beats “The Junior Beats” that looks just like the grown up fresh beat band. They sing and dance.
Fresh Beat Band Tour – Will There Be a Live Fresh Beat Band Tour?
Will there be a fresh beat band tour? Well, we know there was a small mini promotional tour in New York City at places like Sesame Place. The cast also made an apperance on ”The View”, July 7th 2011.
November 25th 2011, the fresh beat band will return to New York City for a performance at the Carnegie Hall.
Rumors say though that there will be a Live Concert Tour across North America possibly in 2012. Will it come to an arena close to you? We will keep you up to date.

The Fresh Beat Band Season 1
1.”Stick Together”
Kiki, Marina, Twist and Shout must work together to prepare the music room for a surprise birthday party.
2. “Stomp the House”
Marina and the band must search for items to replace her broken drums so that she can play her big solo.
3. “Doggone It!”
When the dog Reed is watching runs off, the band decides to help him find it.
4.” Loco Legs”
Shout is so excited to perform that he develops a case of loco legs.
5.” Let’s Boogie”
Marina, Twist and Shout are having trouble learning a dance that Kiki has choreographed.

Fresh Beat Band CD
A fresh beat band CD was supposed to be released September 6th, 2011, but nothing yet. We will let you know when it is out. The Fresh Beat Band: Music From the Hit TV Show. The soundtrack features the Theme Song, Go Bananas, Great Day, Here We Go and more.

The fresh beat dance to choreography by Mandy Moore, Sean Cheesman, Chuck Maldonado, Scotty Nguyen, Dreya Weber, Mary Ann Kellogg, Nakul Mahajan, Mihran Kirakosian, Susan Austin and Fred Tallaksen.
The show was created by Scott Kraft and Nadine van der Velde and developed by Alice Prodanou, Scott Kraft and Nadine van der Velde.
The fresh beat band show is written by Scott Kraft, Nadine van der Velde, Heather MacGillvray, Kim Duran, Linda Mathious, Carla Waddles Banks, Tom Saunders, Alice Prodanou, Dan Danko, Tom Mason and Kerri Grant.
